ip-geo-locator is a simple utility server written in go which queries the location of the IP addresses.
$ helm repo add gkarthiks https://gkarthiks.github.io/helm-charts
$ helm install --name ip-locator gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator
This deploys a stateless deployment of the ip-geo-locator on a Kubernetes cluster using the Helm package manager.
To install the chart with the release name ip-locator
:
$ helm repo add gkarthiks https://gkarthiks.github.io/helm-charts
$ helm install --name ip-locator gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator
The command deploys ip-locator
on the Kubernetes cluster in the default configuration.
To uninstall/delete the ip-locator
deployment:
$ helm delete ip-locator
The command removes all the Kubernetes components associated with the chart and deletes the release.

PS: The request is served over the /ip/
endpoints.
Specify each parameter using the --set key=value[,key=value]
argument to helm install
. For example,
$ helm install --name ip-locator \
--set "image.tag=latest" \
gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator
Alternatively, a YAML file that specifies the values for the parameters can be provided while installing the chart. For example,
$ helm install --name ip-locator -f values.yaml gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator
