TL;DR;

$ helm repo add gkarthiks https://gkarthiks.github.io/helm-charts
$ helm install --name ip-locator gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator

Introduction

This deploys a stateless deployment of the ip-geo-locator on a Kubernetes cluster using the Helm package manager.

Prerequisites

Installing the Chart

To install the chart with the release name ip-locator:

$ helm repo add gkarthiks https://gkarthiks.github.io/helm-charts
$ helm install --name ip-locator gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator

The command deploys ip-locator on the Kubernetes cluster in the default configuration.

Uninstalling the Chart

To uninstall/delete the ip-locator deployment:

$ helm delete ip-locator

The command removes all the Kubernetes components associated with the chart and deletes the release.

Alternatively, a YAML file that specifies the values for the parameters can be provided while installing the chart. For example,

$ helm install --name ip-locator -f values.yaml gkarthiks/ip-geo-locator
